Can the latest must-have gadget be less than the perfect machine it's purported to be? The iPhone is on top of many people's most wanted list but is it worth all that money and hype? It's a machine with a lot of muscle but even the top contender for our hearts and wallets has its limits. Here are some of the iPhone's limitations in case you're seriously thinking of buying:
The Service Provider
AT&T has an exclusive rights on the iPhone so it means switching to Cingular. If you are currently have an agreement with your current provider, you could be charged for giving up without waiting for your lock-in period to expire.
One service provider will also limit the use of your iPhone while traveling. For now, the iPhone is only operational in the US. You'll need a new sim card if you'll be traveling to Europe or Asia and you'll just have to swallow the big roaming charges it will cost you.
Another iPhone limitation is the network coverage. If AT&T's service in your area isn't that good, you could have some difficulty downloading and watching movies on your iPhone. There's a built-in Wi-Fi you can use, though.
Speaking of the internet, you're also only allowed 10MB for viewing a webpage. You can also only run JavaScript for about 5 seconds.
Taking Photos
The iPhone is also a camera phone but it can only handle a measly 2 mega pixels, versus other cell phones and smart phones that boast 3 to 4 mega pixels.
Just 2G
Apple sacrificed having 2G instead of 3G so it can offer the widest possible coverage. That is, until after 3G becomes more widely available. If you want 3G, you'll have to wait for the next iPhone version.
Storage
Storage on the iPhone is also limited. If you're the type of user who likes to store videos and songs, it probably won't be long until you fill your iPhone memory to capacity.
It's A Closed Platform
If you're a download-happy phone user, the iPhone will put a damper on your spirits. It works on a closed platform so no downloading of games, RSS readers, browsers from third parties or other applications.
The Price
It's a status symbol now and not the kind of phone you can give away as a gift or ask for on your birthday unless you've got lots of money. If you want to go for the lower-priced model at $500, you won't get the extra 4GB of memory like the $600 model.

Can Hosting Make Me Money?
What? Surely this is an oxymoron. Most people think that they pay money for their hosting to the hosting company not the other way around. Well, in actual fact the web hosting industry is a massive money spinner for many wealthy affiliates who drive traffic to the hosting sites and then get a share of the profits produced.
Firstly, let’s get one thing straight. The market for Web hosting is absolutely enormous. Think about it. There are millions of websites out there on the internet and they all require hosting. There is also a massive amount of growth in the industry because so many newcomers that are desperate for a piece of the action and are putting up websites at an unbelievable rate. Therefore, you will not need to worry about whether or not there are customers out there to be found. Your job is simply to find them.
Another phenomenal reason for getting your share of the hosting affiliate business is that it is seriously lucrative. Some hosting companies are paying out more than $100.00 per person that signs up. If you could sell a few of these per week you would be doing pretty well! There are a multitude of ways that you can do this including offline advertising, PPC and forum advertising. You must treat it seriously and as a proper business if you want to succeed because there will be some stiff competition out there that you will have to fend off to get your share.
A great way to add an additional stream of income is to do so through ADSense and hosting. You could have a page all about hosting and slap some ADSense ads all over. You may get paid up to $5.00 per click by doing this. If you were to sprinkle in some affiliate links too you would have a site well and truly set up to make big bucks.
Residual income is what everyone strives for. That is when you do the work once and then continued to get paid for a far longer period of time. Since hosting requires that you make monthly payments to keep your website online it means that you can benefit from this concept. Some hosting companies will give you $10.00 per month as long as the person you referred to them doesn’t cancel the hosting. If you can refer 100 people to a program like that then you would have a monthly income of $1000.00 without having to do anything. That is very nice and exactly what you must aim for!
